FIDAL joined the "Symposium on Public Protection and Disaster Relief (PPDR) - Emergency and Crisis Management," held on October 16, 2024 with a presentation on "Experience and challenges on testing and validating Network Aware PPDR XR Application for 5G Advanced Networks"

FIDAL joined the 1st International Workshop on Value-Driven Ethical Networking In 6G (Ethicnet) at IEEE PIMRC that took place on Monday 2nd September. The project was invited to join the final panel on 'Sustainability in networking: the path ahead'

Our partners at the University of Patras were in Madrid, Spain for the IEEE International Mediterranean Conference on Communications and Networks to present their paper "AI-fuelled Dimensioning and Optimal Resource Allocation of 5G/6G Wireless Communication Networks". 

FIDAL joined Stream D / Stream B joint workshop with a presentation on the work conducted so far in FIDAL on Key Values Indicators with a lens on the methodologies, challenges encountered and next steps. The presentation briefly touched upon FIDAL’s KPIs

The workshop explored the relationship between 6G pre-standardisation and large-scale trials. FIDAL contributed with a presentation on Standardization Challenges and Opportunities.

FIDAL intervened at the event with a presentation on 'On Advancing Application – Network Interaction and 5G and beyond business models: Considering FIDAL Multi-media Use Cases. The event was jointly organized by 6G-IA and 5G-MAG

FIDAL participated as speaker to the joint workshop by 5G MediaHUB and 5G-MAG MEDIA ACTION GROUP to discuss Standardization. 

Our project intervened with two presentations that looked at: i) esilient low latency, high rate streaming in MEC and Cloud, ii) dynamic reconfiguration of codecs according to the knowledge of the network behaviour

FIDAL PROJECT presented its funding opportunities in the webinar co-organised by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance and FIDAL project partner hashtag#PIIU. Very pleased to see that over a 100 participants interested decided to join the event!

FIDAL was in Athens this month to present  its Open Call Opportunity at the 5G and GovTech conference, organized by the European Digital Innovation Hub for Digital Governance. 

The event focused on the future potential impacts of emerging disruptive technologies (EDTs) such as 5G/6G, XR, VR, AI/ML on the public sector, businesses, and society.

Project partner Nova was invited to the 2023 FITCE Hellas Congress that took place 28th & 29th of September in Athens, Greece. FIDAL Project was introduced to the audience under the session ''New Technologies - Enablers - Verticals".
 

FIDAL was presented in the exhibition area of EUCNC in Gothenburg, Sweden from 6 to 9 June 2023. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness about FIDAL to relevant stakeholders and to introduce the upcoming open call.
