Hello guys,

Today I was facing some problems with eSun ABS+ Filament. Some days ago I found an old spool of that filament, dried it, printed with Generic profile and got a perfect part.

Today a got the packet from eSun and tried the same. I faced heavy ringing and a very poor surface quality. It seems like the Bambu is over-extruding.

I made a couple of Test with the Engeneering and the structured PEI plate and ran every time the flow and bed calibration. The result is the same.

Did someone face the same problems with eSun ABS+? What can I do about that?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Yes, same results here. I have a fully enclosed P1P with a chamber fan, and I pulled it out of the vac seal, dried it, ran it on Generic ABS profile and I could not get a clean K value test, to get a somewhat clean one I had to lower the temps to 230 first layer/240. I did a few prints with the same surface finishes you have. This is the first time I had to alter a generic profile for a filament. I will run a temp tower next to see if I can dial in the temp, or I will just go back to Sunlu and Polymaker ABS. I seen that Esun is calming that their making Bambulab filaments so I figured I try them…maybe I should not have gotten the ABS+
