                Live long and prosper, Ken.

Congratulations - you even approach fatherhood in stereo! :)

After seeing the offensive posts, I'd be happy to see ANYONE that has been a member for a certain term be an "early responder" for moderation. But, I'd suggest that anyone that becomes a moderator refrain from using the following avatar.

Check out Red Rocks. It's not just for concerts, but a fun area to explore. https://www.denver.org/things-to-do/music-nightlife/red-rocks/

Just saw the attack threads for the first time. I'm all for having a backup plan to quickly react to this, and would support any member that volunteers their time to stamp it out.

No one who really wants to be a moderator should ever be made a moderator. Fact of life.

If you can fit a small, very thin magnetic strip "inside" the screen, you could move it around with a more powerful magnet on the outside of the screen, and perhaps "sweep" it out?

Skip, I think you should simply point out to them that the greatest weakness Polk encountered in selling the high dollar LSiM line was lack of accessibility of demos. They need to avoid repeating this mistake. Should be a slam dunk (in my admittedly dealer-naive view). I'm glad F1 is organizing the demos of the 200s. We…

Pitdogg2, I guess you did not know that my account was deleted (in error, it seems?), and quickly reinstated in 2013, but without my previous postings. It's nice to see you here, too. :) As far as righteousness and self-importance, my claim of "title" is in jest, but those labels fit others quite nicely. Thank you again…

Ken, nice to see you here! Hey, does anyone at Polk have any feedback for anyone here claiming to have particular "titles" or "offices" related to this forum? Because otherwise, I'd swear that my "Grand Poobahness" outranks anyone claiming to be, say, "President". Is this true?

Skip, my sources say that the Polk Legend series will only be sold through Prosource dealers. You're welcome.

I must have missed that part - thank you.

So it seems as if the L800's are exclusively for 2 channel setups? Could anyone see any usage for dual purpose setups (2 channel & multi-channel surround sound, replacing primary L and R speakers)? Or would the introduction of additional audio from non-L800 channels nullify the "opposite channel dampening effect" in a way…

Pond Creek is the name of a town in northern Oklahoma. Don't know why it got that name...

Halfway through a 185 mile day ride from OKC.

Oops, I saw @Dabutcher beat me to it. Only saw the higher prices quoted in the last few posts.

I've had several top-of-the-line traditional mattresses from Simmons and Sealy, but the best sleep I've ever had has been on a BedInABox (PacBamboo King 13" Memory Foam Mattress). It's counter-intuitive, since the BedInABox cost less (being direct). Going on 8 years now and it's still the best sleep I ever had.

Ah, but this a Porsche of a different color!

Ken, as a tribute to your successful moderation, I "liked" Jesse's post.

Could you get boxes/packing from JimBrick or Skip? Or Polk CS? https://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/51908/boxes-and-packing

https://shorelinemusic.com/collections/closeouts Good deals on AudioEngine gear. Received a pair of A5+'s in excellent condition, and have ordered more. More than 50% off list, free shipping.

                Can do! Just lemme know...

Reduced to $1350/pair for the 707s.

705s are extremely balanced, and the 707s are more for larger areas that need more low end emphasis. They both sound excellent to me. Anyone that would prefer 705s may PM me as well, as I have a pair of these (without boxes), that I could sell instead of the 707s. $900 for the pair of midnight 705s, local only.

One pair of these are back for sale. Original boxes, mint condition. $1400/pair.

@ZLTFUL, given your avatar I thought you were going to say it is not unusual for a rider to bring their own saddle...
 -
Or you could try recumbents. I've gone 100 miles without getting off the bike. Not one person I know has gone back to traditional bikes after they have spent a week riding a recumbent. Pictured is the bike I rode from my home in OKC to the Kansas state line one day.

Now that the Adorama sales are over, one pair of these cherry 707's are back on the market. They are in mint condition with fantastic sound and original boxes. $1500/pair plus shipping from OKC or local pickup. I am hanging on to my other 2 pair of 707s for my HT, but don't really need these.
