I’m in tech and for the life of me can’t buy into the Apple Watch. I know it’s cool but laptop, tablet and phone is enough connectivity for me. This was a gift for High School Graduation in 1987, my first Mechanical watch, Seiko 6309. Had it refreshed about a year ago and wear on occasion.

Congrats. I had the same conclusion with my rig a couple weeks back and it feels great to just enjoy the music.

I don’t know what brand. I used a local design firm that does mostly custom cabinets but this is their “import line” . Seem to be well made. No idea on the quartz brand. I can find out since you’re in the kitchen business and pm you.

Long time Skip. I wasn’t aware but I have hard time paying 299 for a psu on 500 unit. Probably get what you pay for iFi gets some pretty good reviews? Just contemplating power cord upgrades all the way around and looking for some reasonable gains at a moderate price. I think that means I am cheap :)

I had the A7s for a short time and returned for the S60s. To my ears they were much better for music and not bright. They weren’t for me but others like them for ht or tame them with amps that are on the warm side and ICs and cables.

What are the thoughts on an homage to the old SDAs with interconnect cable and all? I would love to see that.

Save a little extra and go for the 60s. You can find good deals if you are patient and shop around. They are a terrific speaker and great for music and ht.

I got that unit for the GF and some used S15s and she loves it. Now I don’t have to listen to her little portable Bluetooth speaker. Great little rig.
