What’s the general thoughts on this device? The camera seems fantastic and spec sheet is nice. It’s rather expensive though.

Can you order directly from Oppo if in the U.S.? Only other option is from sites such as wonda mobile or avg dad tech, etc. Reputable companies just not really happy about spending $1200 for this phone. That's iPhone money.amazing device and all round great at everything. depends where you buy if you import a global model it's about 200 cheaper from oppo themselves
I looks epic. If I used android this would be the device for me. Let us knowCan you order directly from Oppo if in the U.S.? Only other option is from sites such as wonda mobile or avg dad tech, etc. Reputable companies just not really happy about spending $1200 for this phone. That's iPhone money.
*Edit, just ordered the titanium charcoal from Wondamobile, was cheaper vs. Avgdadtech. Apparently they have much better customer support? Can't wait to use this bad boy, will sell my Fold if I keep it.
Will do. If it actually works on band 71 and if I can get WiFi calling to work properly it'll be a keeper for sure.I looks epic. If I used android this would be the device for me. Let us know
That snap on lens looks boss but realistically, how often would one use it.While the specs are great for this phone. It is blatant iPhone copy. Even down to the camera and actions buttons and their placements. But the snap-on lens from Hasselblad looks interesting

I saw a YouTube video on the camera snap-on. It does amazing on stills and portraits. That snap on lens looks boss but realistically, how often would one use it.
It really does.I saw a YouTube video on the camera snap-on. It does amazing on stills and portraits.
I would give it a try if it was offered through my cell carrier here in the US. It really seems to be a beast of a phone! It really does.
I’ve never had a Chinese phone. I think they are banned in the US? I’m seriously considering this, it looks like a solid phone but I wonder what the support will be like in the UK.

I think there are some regulatory issues in the US (battery size, degradation) and safety concerns that have prevent companies that sell prominently in the US from adopting them yet. IIRC, it's only the Chinese OEMs that have used them with any significance so far and I don't think their uses are as regulated there.it's about time apple adopted silicon batteries. seriously. less than 4000 mah in a phone where the competitors managed to put nearly twice as much . this voluntary prevention of extreme changes, to artificially limit advancements and keep them spread out across the year , is sickening
I see. i'm aware of the 100wh limit in planes, but other than that idk what regulartions there areI think there are some regulatory issues in the US (battery size, degradation) and safety concerns that have prevent companies that sell prominently in the US from adopting them yet. They’re also seems to be some downsides, including misleading mAh to battery life conversion.I think there are some regulatory issues in the US (battery size, degradation) and safety concerns that have prevent companies that sell prominently in the US from adopting them yet. I’ve seen comments that the silicon batteries deteriorate/lose health a lot quicker so I suspect that’s why Apple and Samsung haven’t been in a rush to adopt them at this stage.it's about time apple adopted silicon batteries. seriously. less than 4000 mah in a phone where the competitors managed to put nearly twice as much . this voluntary prevention of extreme changes, to artificially limit advancements and keep them spread out across the year , is sickening
That looks brilliant.I have one for vivo 200 ultra
Not used anywhere near enough as should
Ehh...doesn't really bother me to the point of putting me off. Floss just reviewed the Vivo X300 and it also blatantly copies iOS. I tend to agree with his take on it. I'm not Tim Apple and don't lose money from copycats. I'm a consumer, if the product and design suit me then I'll buy it.It looks nice but agree with jamezr, it’s an iPhone rip off and that’s what really puts me off it.
I just don’t understand why a phone with such good hardware, specs and camera then has to try and be an iPhone clone. It would really cheapen the experience for me as it would probably make me wish I was just using an iPhone instead.
I’d still be tempted to give one a go, though. Camera looks intriguing.
That’s cool but I don’t think I’d be able to get past it. To me, the OS looks like a Temu iPhone.Ehh...doesn't really bother me to the point of putting me off.
