I was given a warning on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 that I have potential hypertension on watch OS 26. I initiate it when Watch OS 26 came out and it monitored me for a month. Well the other day I got the warning and called doctors office and started logging my BP for a solid week before going in. I have moderate high BP and nose have to go in medication for that.

Since I live alone since last year when my wife went into assisted care I have to be aware to take care of myself first that way I can take care of my other obligations.

So Thank You big time to Apple for this and I am so glad I have this watch. It keeps amazing me with the things that it does

thanks for sharing this. good to know you went in to see the doctor. take care.

I had no idea I had even moderately high blood pressure and when the watch alerted me it got my attention. In my family we do have a history of elevated blood pressure. 3 of my 5 siblings and both parents when they were alive had it and I get to join them in taking meds to control blood pressure.

Glad that it alerted you. I haven't set it up on mine yet but strangely I visited my doctor for a health check and he picked up that I have high blood pressure. I logged my readings for a week and went back with my average being 150/105. I have been put of medication this week too. I keep fit and it looks like its genetic with me. Had blood tests done this week, urine test and get the resukts next week.

Hopefully yours and my blood pressure comes down with the intervention, all the best to you.
