I did another demo today and was quickly disappointed that Apple still does not demo the Virtual Mac Display. That is a popular use case for the AVP so it seems like a huge failure to not allow a demo.

I thought after two years Apple would figure out a way to demo this feature.

How odd - stores near me will ask if that's something you're interested in & keep an MBP / AVP / pointer device ready for those demos.

That’s interesting, I’ve been to Pall Alto store and the apple campus visitor center, and both locations don’t have the ability to showcase Virtual Mac.

My store didn’t have the Virtual Mac Display available to demo either. I was surprised how casual the demo experience felt. I thought there would be a strict roadmap they’d have to follow. The person helping me asked what I wanted to try out.

Barring temporary device problems, the experiences above don't seem to match Apple expectations for AVP demos.
I'd let them know - either using an online survey link, or calling the store & talking to a manager.

I did too and specifically asked for it, and was told I would need to book in another demo as they needed a mac for the set up [as if the Apple store doesnt have enough macs.....] it was the no 1 reason to do the demo in the first place.

Odd isnt it and very narrow minded. I wonder who decides all this stuff.
Also the specialist didnt know about the widgets and anchoring [which I demoed for him ;) ], nor the ability to drag from a website and view in AR [which is shown on the Apple site now].

Just to add, the demos are obviously set up for consumers still, and not business/work. The specialist told me that most people just want to look at video and pictures when he asked them what they want to see.

However I was more than impressed with it. I forgot how good the vision pro is. Just need to raise some cash and I am getting one [for work reasons, and not to look at photos and videos.......]
