Along with my iPhone and iPad Pro M5 13” they all Face ID I also have mini 7 with Touch ID. Is there any hope for the next mini be a true pro version with Face ID? I’m getting tired of sitting there staring at the iPad Mini waiting for it to open.

No, forget it, it would compete with the iPhone fold if it's too premium (btw the fold will have touch id apparently)
