Why does FaceTime for iPad have to launch with the HUGE HUGE HUGE favorite and recent icons??? I can't even see myself.

I remember when you hit the FT icon of the person you wanted and …..went straight to the FT chat! Now… a multi step process…!
 
This is the only thing I don’t like about 26. FT is GARBAGE now. They removed favorites and only show recents and they’re massive cards. This is not how I use it at all. Why they couldn’t have used a UI similar to phone …
