I wanted to say
This is the best you’ve ever done
Nothing else will ever come
Close to this
I wanted to say
This is the best you’ve ever done
We put it in a box
We filled it up with rocks and shame
We threw it off a cliff and in
Into the ocean
Into the ocean blue
I took another box
Filled it up with much the same
I wore it like a crucifix
Forgiven but this one could not be fixed
Could not be fixed
This one could not be fixed
What else to say?
And what to do with what we’ve done?
We can pack it all in or we can write another one
Let that shame spiral
Let that shame all the way out
Let it spiral out to
Where I can’t be found
And now that I’ve unpacked it, I’m gonna write another one. The best I’ve ever done.
I’m gonna write another one
It’s just a song

Transaction/Service features This Is Wreckage incorporating more melodic influences into their noise rock, and they absolutely crush it! Every single song is great, and they even have common themes that keep the album feeling satisfyingly complete. The more I listen, the more this one secures itself as one of my favorite albums ever. profstampede
Incredibly heavy and unrelenting, but hits even harder after breaking out of the relatively calm parts of the two middle tracks. Crazy good for a debut(?) EP. profstampede
This strikes all the right balances to make a great album. It pays homage to noise rock past without being derivative. It structures songs around the lyrics without losing momentum. It has a narrative focus without being on the nose. It achieves a consistent style without any songs sounding sameish. profstampede
