Yemeni Lahsa 🤤 (via: @chefjjskitchen) Ingredients: - 1 large onion - 2 large ripe tomatoes - 4 to 5 spicy chilies (optional) - 3 eggs - @ndcmuscat olive oil - liquid cheese - salt & pepper - 1 tsp cumin powder - 1 tsp coriander powder - 1 tsp paprika - 1 tbsp tomato puree Directions: - start by chopping the veggies. Saute the onion in a drizzle of olive oil. - once the onion starts to brown add the tomatoes. Season with salt. Pepper. Cumin. Coriander. Paprika. Tomato puree and any spices that you prefer. - keep cooking the tomatoes on medium low till dissolved. - switch off the heat then crack the eggs in the mixture. Mix it thoroughly and add a splash of water. - turn the heat back on low and spread the cheese on top.

1hr 30min · 1 serving Herby Goat Cheese Toast, Burst Tomatoes & Yolk Confit ❤️👌🏻 kicking off toast week with a BANG. Ingredients: • 4 oz room temp goat cheese (I used Vermont Creamery). • 4-5 pickled jalapeños (trust). • 6-7 basil leaves. • 2 tbsp chives. • 2 tsp honey. • Small drizzle lemon. • 2 tbsp olive oil + more for the yolk confit & tomatoes. • seasoned salt to taste. • 4 egg yolks. • 1 pint cherry tomatoes. • parmigiano to taste. • flaky sea salt. • 1 garlic clove. •4 slices ciabatta. Directions: • 1.- preheat oven to 175 F. Add your yolks in a smal baking dish, completely submerge in olive oil. Cover with foil and place inside a larger baking dish. Add boiling water. Egg Yolk Butter
20min · 1 serving Egg Yolk Butter Toasts 🤩 (S1 Ep2 Egg Yolk Series) it is so easy but taste so luxurious in my not so humble opinion. Any egg yolk requests? Ingredients: • 2 ciabatta. • Olive oil. • 1 garlic clove. • 4 egg yolks (high quality & room temp). • 5 tbsp good unsalted butter (room temp but not melted). • Zest of 1 lemon. • 1 tsp tamari. • Black pepper. • Flaky sea salt. •Chives. 1.- Fill a small pot with 1/3 water, bring to a boil. Add a bowl to create your bain marie. Lower the heat to medium low. Add in the yolks and stir with a spoon (not a whisk) for about 1 min 30 sec min or until slightly jammy and thickened. Make sure you stir it scraping the sides so the yolks don't stick. Keep in mind my stove is gas and time/temp will need to be adjusted for electric.
