Australian spider

Unfortunately for us, Australia isn’t entirely populated just by friendly locals, cool kangaroos, and cute koalas. The Land Down Under sometimes seems like the most dangerous country on the entire planet and should be renamed the Land of Nope.

This spider is from the genus Nephila and was photographed in Australia...it also eats birds...and I had really wanted to visit Australia some day and yea well THAT went out the window UGH

Australian Huntsman spider

The Australian Huntsman spider is a hunter and roams its habitat in search of food. They often make our homes their home, and do a wonderful job of managing insects that come near it. They are often found living under the bark of Eucalyptus trees and can be found at night with a bright torch - their eyes reflect the torch light when it hits them.
