This haunting, surreal type of artwork is also exhibited at the War memorial and here I am showing real world and fantasy surreality of afterworld of departed grandmother who the child misses. I was thinking about hoe much my sons were attached to my mother and missed her when she passed away. They were older, but the sense of loss prevails even today.

Grief is natural. There will be a few moments within everyone's life where there will be at least one moment when you come across grief. It can be from the death of a cherished one, the lack of a job, the stop of a relationship, or some other action that alters your life. Likewise, grief is also very personal. It is not linear. It does not follow a schedule. You may cry, grow angry, withdraw, and sense emptiness. None of this is uncommon or wrong.

The astonishing aspect of the world of art is that there is no such thing that should be considered astonishing by any standards but it still manages to make us feel that things are astonishing.
