Baskets aren’t just for table tops and picnics. They’re a great way to add texture and warmth to your walls as well! We grouped several together on this long, empty wall to create a stunning visual impact while keeping the color palette neutral. Do you have any baskets hanging on the walls in your home? Or do you prefer framed art?

It might be a bit of a treasure hunt to find used barrels—check local wineries and Craigslist. Each barrel will be held together with several metal hoops. To disassemble them, first use pliers to remove the fasteners. Then loosen the hoop by sliding a flat-head screwdriver or claw between the metal and wood, tapping gently with a mallet.
