I'm sharing our painted bedroom furniture today, and everything I used to do it! Four years later, it still looks as good as it did the day I painted it!

HOW I DID IT: -removed hardware and cleaned with a degreaser -sanded to raw wood with a 120 then 220 grit and my @festool_usa sander! -applied a tan paint wash followed by the stain “antique oak” by @generalfinishes -topcoated it, hated it so went in with “van dyke brown” glaze by @generalfinishes to even out the color. (It worked!) topcoat again with @minwaxusa polycrylic -painted the top black to hide the massive damage - spray painted and rubbed gliding wax on original hardware to get the perfect antique look I personally love how this one turned out and I’m glad I got to Spray Paint Wood Furniture Diy, Distressed Furniture Diy Chalk Paint, How To Paint Dark Wood Furniture, Refinishing Furniture With Chalk Paint, Wood Furniture Restoration, Mahogany Furniture Makeover, How To Antique Paint Furniture, Old Buffet Makeover Ideas, Black Wash Furniture
