Anatomy study of a red fox diving into snow using Gael Kerchenbaum's workflow for sculpting animal anatomy. The fur was a big challenge for me as I find it really difficult to get that feeling of fluffiness without it looking like a mess, and I get a bit lost when it comes to arranging clumps. To combat this, I made two IMM brushes of acanthus leaves (filigree) so I would have a good base to start from and it would end up looking more sculptural.
