Have you seen them? With mom close by, harbor seal pups lounge on rocks near decks. Awkward on land, they’re sleek and agile in the water as they speed after their next meal.

Tuq, the harbor seal, is getting a special K-laser treatment from our veterinary team! The K-laser increases blood flow, reduces inflammation, and promotes healing in the area of the body where the laser is applied. Because of Tuq's ongoing neurological condition, he has a hard time moving his body as other seals would to get in and out of the water. He sometimes develops skin abrasions on his chest and belly from these movements, which are closely monitored by our mammologists. Because Tuq
