How I gave a vintage dresser a modern makeover by stripping the finish off, and refinishing by using a combo of stains. Stain details included as well as sources.

𝐂𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 ✨ 𝐃𝐈𝐘 & 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 on Instagram: "Comment the word “Link” for a list of everything I used in this flip. 🚨Make sure you hit follow so you receive the message 🫶🏻 Here’s how I did it- Nightstand- •Added triangle blocks to bottom for new feet to attach to • Remove hardware and clean with a degreaser •Scuff sand entire area that will be painted/fully sand exposed wood with 120,150,220 grit •Tape off exposed wood areas •Spray on 2 coats of primer. scuff sanding lightly between coats with 220 •spray on paint (3 coats, lightly sanding inbetween) •Add topcoat to left over paint and spray on at least two coats (I did 3 coats on the top) •Tan wash exposed wood areas •Add a medium brown stain over tan wash •Top coat exposed wood areas wi Furniture Makeover Chalk Paint, Makeover Nightstand, Distressed Painted Wood, Sanding And Painting Furniture, Sand And Stain Furniture, Wood Refurbishing, Bedroom Furniture Painting Ideas, 2 Tone Furniture Ideas, Staining Plywood Furniture
