Life Skills Centers for the Whole Year - Simply Special Ed

Are you wondering how to set up a life skills in the classroom? Today, I’m sharing life skill center set up. When setting up centers for life skills, gather the material and organize it into bins. Decide on the life skills that will be taught for the month in your special education classroom. I like to create a life skills schedule for the year to stay organized. Finally, the students get to work during these independent stations with some help from the adults in the room.

Using play centers in your early childhood special education classroom is definitely a must! Today, I’m sharing how to set up play centers in your special ed class. Using IEP goals and functional skills in special education, I set up play centers around those. This helps my special ed students to get the most out of their independent station time.
