Pfeiffer Beach is a beautiful, unspoiled beach that's popular with locals, somewhat unknown among tourists and well worth your time. One of the cool things about Pfeiffer beach is the purple sand. Apparently this comes from manganese garnet crystals that gets washed in from the nearby hills. Anyway, I wish I could have shot more of these but my cable release got wet (again) and caused my MkII to stop functioning as long as it was attached.
