This is how the DIY home decor tips and tricks I have picked up in the last 12 months helped me transform my skirting board:
1️⃣ Removed all the old sealant
2️⃣ Sanded my skirting board using 120 grit sandpaper
3️⃣ Cleaned the floor and skirting board with sugar soap and a cloth
4️⃣ Put some masking tape down
5️⃣ Apply OB1 multi surface sealant to the gap between your masking tape and the skirting board; then smooth out with your fingers. Leave to dry
6️⃣ Paint the skirting board with 2 coats of Zinsser 123 and leave to dry
7️⃣ Paint the skirting board with 1 or 2 coats of Bedec Aqua - advance paint (I used white satin)
