Need fresh eyes, what can I improve on these hands?

Personal project that will be used in something later, and my first attempt at sculpting hands in a realistic manner.

1. The retopology of a free hand’s 3D-scan in Maya. 2. The creation of textures in the Substance Painter. 3. Visualization in Arnold

Technically, this is the right idea. However, it is simplistic, the lines are poorly crafted (inconsistant, haphazard) and the design's composition is pretty thoughtless. Also, I have seen this a thousand times.
