This was a triumph, although these photos are rather lackluster. I walked around my backyard without the aid of a cane, crutches, or walker! My knee is improving fast, although I can’t walk over rough ground very well, and I definitely can’t crouch. I saw a zebra:
And a wall jumper:
I didn’t fall down even once, although I was pushing it a bit.
Good job PZ. The jumping spiders were there for you!
Good to hear, and the photos are good enough I can tell those are the kind of spiders I like, ie small ones.
“Stomp on it, Henry! Stomp on it!” (Apologies to Gary Larson.)
Glad to hear you are improving, PZ!
@3. weylguy : “No!”No! Leave it be!”
Hang on! That’s no striped equine!
Not a fish either.
I’m making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS!
It’s hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Sorry. As soon as I read the first few words, that immediately popped into my head, and the opening verse is actually appropriate here (even if GLaDOS may not have been entirely sincere).
It is sometimes difficult to find the path between training and pushing yourself too hard so it gets worse, but you seem to be doing well.
Scratch the spiders under the chin from me. And if you have connections in Australia, try to set up a breeding colony of cool Australian spiders in your garden.
Next level: A zebra carrying spiders to the designated feeding place?
