Solsea is the first hybrid-electric catamaran superyacht, designed for silent nature exploration.

At Fuseproject, sustainability drives everything we do. Our partnership with Italian shipbuilder Rossinavi to design Solsea exemplifies our dedication to redefining the future of yachting through innovative, eco-conscious design.

Solsea is a groundbreaking electric hybrid catamaran superyacht designed for silent and sustainable ocean exploration. This eco-displacement yacht allows for cruising in full-electric mode 80% of the time on transatlantic journeys, significantly cutting fuel consumption and operating costs by 80% while cruising, and 100% during wintering.

Our challenge was to create a yacht that blends efficiency, sustainability, and luxury. Together, we designed Solsea to offer maximum hydrodynamic efficiency with its innovative catamaran hull. The yacht’s advanced battery and solar panel system power the vessel, reducing pollution and enhancing onboard comfort by minimizing noise, vibrations, and odors.

To optimize both function and aesthetics, we created large surfaces for solar panels, including a dual-purpose pool cover that serves as a shading and solar surface. A full-width hydraulic rear door transforms into a beach club platform, seamlessly merging function with elegance.

Solsea represents a new era of yachting—one where sustainability and luxury coexist, offering owners a peaceful, eco-friendly journey through the seas, while significantly reducing environmental impact and operating costs.
