The short version

FZF builds Workflow Control for staffing operations: coordination systems that keep injury reporting, credentialing, onboarding, redeployment, and client compliance from getting lost between systems and people.

We work alongside the ATS, VMS, payroll platform, vendors, and client systems each staffing company already uses. Those systems retain their records; Workflow Control makes sure the work between them actually happens.

We stay small, senior, and close to the operation. We deliver useful systems without turning every decision into a meeting.

Why we exist

FZF was founded in 2022 by Alfredo García after he returned to Mexico and declined a full-time opportunity with Google in Palo Alto.

The premise was simple: build an international engineering company from Mexico that creates measurable operational impact—not one focused solely on optimizing engagement metrics inside big tech.

Alfredo began programming at 15, earned his first developer role at 17, studied Robotics and Digital Systems Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and interned at Google on the Google Assistant productivity team. FZF grew from the decision to apply that experience to operational problems where reliability has visible consequences.

The road so far

2022 — Founded in Monterrey. Two founders, ambitious goals, and zero clients.

2023 — A year of exploring markets and services to understand which problems produced the most meaningful and durable work.

2024 — We delivered systems for companies in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. The same pattern kept appearing: the most valuable work lived in processes with many handoffs, rules, and exceptions.

2025 — Our position became clear: process coordination for organizations where a missed step costs time, money, safety, or trust.

2026 — We focused on staffing operations, packaged the approach as Workflow Control, and shortened the FuzzyFlags brand to FZF.

What we believe about operations

  • A process should not depend on someone remembering to update a task.
  • The system should follow up with people—not the other way around.
  • Every important step needs an owner, a deadline, and evidence that it happened.
  • Generic software handles the happy path; real operations live in the exceptions.
  • The people doing the work understand the process better than any outside engineer. Good systems begin by listening to them.

Our values

Be fair

We make decisions we can explain clearly to clients, teammates, and partners. That means honest expectations, transparent scope, fair credit, direct feedback, and communicating bad news early.

Be effective

We optimize for outcomes, not the appearance of activity. We choose the smallest useful solution, deliver it, observe what happens, and improve it. A clever system that does not improve the operation is not effective.

Be humble

We assume the people closest to the work know things we do not. We ask before prescribing, acknowledge uncertainty, change our minds when the evidence changes, and let the best idea win regardless of title.

The team today

We remain intentionally small. We prefer a specialized team that stays close to the client and the operation over a large agency with layers of management.

Our team is distributed across Mexico, including Mérida, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Cancún, and Saltillo, with occasional collaborators elsewhere in Latin America. We work in hours aligned with the United States, communicate directly, and focus on outcomes.

Who we work best with

We work best with operations leaders and engineers who value a fair relationship, direct communication, and processes that work reliably in practice.

For clients, that typically means an Operations Manager, Director of Operations, COO, or compliance leader at an established staffing company where critical processes cross supervisors, field workers, vendors, clients, and internal teams.

For engineers, it means meaningful ownership, direct feedback, and technical decisions with visible operational consequences.

Where we are going

We want FZF to be the team staffing companies call when an important process keeps getting lost between their systems and people.

We are building that position from Mexico: aligned with U.S. operating hours, connected to markets across the continent, and able to collaborate across languages and business cultures.

The ambition is focused: understand staffing operations deeply, make Workflow Control exceptionally effective, and earn expansion through results.
