We’ve written quite a few lists with PC titles we love and want other people to discover – we like to talk about them a bit first so that you’re not getting into them without knowing anything first. We’re also aware that the visual aspect matters: it’s why we provide you with a trailer or gameplay from each game – nothing beats seeing them in action!

Aside from giving you a general outlook on how a title looks and plays, we point out any instance of a cheaper offer on it whenever there’s one. We have posted numerous top lists for 2025, but it naturally depends on what kind of games you want to try out. We gathered some of the most popular series and genres; nevertheless, there were times like the one when we wrote about the top 25 single player games to play on PC in 2025. You can tell there can be a lot of genres involved – it’s not like we limit ourselves to only FPS titles or RPGs. We consider any kind of gaming equal: as long as you’re having fun, it’s all that matters. It’s the reason why we included such genres as visual novels or retro titles in our articles for  2025. It’s not like they’re so popular that literally everyone is playing them – but we know they always have a dedicated fanbase. It may be small at times, but we can’t possibly ignore the fact that someone would prefer reading tons of text in Umineko than playing a high-paced FPS.

However, it’s not that easy to try out other sources of games if you already have one you trust and use frequently. There are various stages of niche, so we didn’t just mention some of the well-known gems like Hades or Spelunky 2 in that text. Some players would appreciate something special, something that probably should be popular but for some reason isn’t.
