As a bass music enthusiast of many years it only made sense that melba would pick up the headphones & Ableton at some point - a friendly face on the Newcastle club scene since 2015, and a DJ / Producer since 2022. melba is a passionate advocate for diversity of people and sounds within underground music, growing up listening to the fast pace of Makina and Clubland, setting the tone for her taste in electronic music.

melba’s debut release comes in the form of insatiable, a 160bpm slammer already receiving support from LCY, Tañ, Sweetpea, Nectax and more. The track is a nod to different styles, with a moody footwork influenced intro, progressing into a stripped back bass-booming drop. This one is destined for the club.
