🚀 This Gist covers how to setup and work with SonarQube Server in Remote server.
Before deploying our application on the production server, we checked the code quality of the application using quality profiles (collections of rules) in SonarQube. If the application's code passed the quality gate (a set of metrices or thresholds for bugs, vulnerabilities, code smells, and test coverage) then we proceeded to deployment.
SonarQube server is an open-source platform for continuous inspection of code quality. It performs code analysis to detect bugs, code smells, vulnerabilities, and security issues across multiple programming languages. It integrates seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines and helps developers write cleaner, more maintainable code. SonarQube requires Java software so we also have to configure it.
Make sure you allow the 9000 port as sonarqube server run on 9000 port in Security Group
