Terms

These terms apply for git.gay and its related services including pages.gay and our Weblate instance.

Content

1. Hateful or violent content is forbidden. We do not allow (inexhaustive list):
   • Discriminatory behaviour, including but not limited to: racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, other queerphobia, ableism, anti-semitism, islamophobia
   • Right-wing dogwhistles, Nazi and white-supremacist symbolism, promoting right-wing ideas
   • Threats, harassment, doxxing
   • Sexual or violent content without a proper warning
   • Sexual content involving minors
   • Glorifying violence
   • Content that harms git.gay's (and Besties') reputation
2. Repositories which contain illegal content are not allowed
   • Legality is based on the laws in the United States and Germany
3. Unauthorised distribution of copyrighted material is not allowed
4. Repositories should not be unreasonably large (a few gigabytes is more than enough)
5. We reserve the right to moderate/remove/delist content or accounts that violate our terms, create a harmful environment for users/the platform, or are disproportionately taxing on our servers

Responsibilities & Copyright

Unauthorised redistribution of copyrighted content is not allowed (Rule 3).

You are responsible for making your own backups.
