Ternary Moral Logic (TML) was conceived to address two inherent deficiencies in this paradigm.

Sacred Zero is the heart of TML: the precise moment an AI system hesitates before harm. It activates whenever a prompt semantically intersects with any mandated corpus of codified human or ecological rights that all licensed TML systems must carry.

When the overlap between prompt and right crosses the ethical similarity threshold, Sacred Pause initiates reflection, instructs Always Memory to begin a Moral Trace Log, and anchors the event to Blockchain for forensic accountability.

TML and the AI each maintain complementary corpora:
