Code becomes canvas, data transforms into visual language. This work explores the merger of programming and visual expression, continuing the tradition of algorithmic aesthetics. Drawing inspiration from organic complexity and data-driven narratives, these pieces seek to find beauty in the mathematical structures underlying human experience.
The work embraces the philosophy that constraints and systematic processes can yield unexpected beauty. Each algorithm becomes a lens through which raw information reveals hidden patterns, transforming the mundane mechanics of data into something approaching the sublime. The computer serves not as mere tool but as collaborator, offering its own logic to the creative process.
Community data rendered as visual form
Demographic patterns emerge as organic networks, each node representing a distinct community district. Population densities determine scale while geographic relationships create natural clustering, forming delicate webs of connection that mirror the invisible social bonds within urban landscapes.
Mathematical constants rendered as cosmic patterns
Ten thousand decimal places of π transformed into a visual constellation, where each digit becomes a colored point of light. Adjacent identical digits connect to form intricate patterns, revealing the hidden structure within mathematical infinity.
Professional connections as temporal mandala
Seventeen years of LinkedIn networking data spirals outward from center to edge, each daily segment colored by connection activity. Time flows in concentric rings where career transitions appear as color shifts, revealing the hidden rhythms of professional relationship building through mathematical transformation of mundane CSV exports.
