• V3: comparison of an immutable int local folded although a C call wrote it through &int

• sqlite: Missing #include "sqlite3.h" in darwin branch

  vlang/v#30220 · Filter by author Alex-hu opened on Oct 12, 2026

• v3: every program loads builtin.closure since #30097: a field read after a multi-value := is taken for a possible bound method

• Compiler crashes at random (invalid memory access in checker/transformer) when a module assigns C.errno = C.EAGAIN

vlang/v#30211 · Filter by author enghitalo opened on Oct 11, 2026

• driver: v1-fallback retry forwards -v3-internal-all-cached-declarations, which the old compiler rejects, hiding the real error

  vlang/v#30207 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• compiler: arrays.group([1, 2]) is accepted but miscompiled — v1 fallback rejects it, interpolated use emits undeclared arrays__group, assigned use silently splits

• encoding.base58: decode panics on non-ASCII input instead of returning an error

  vlang/v#30202 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• encoding.base58: decode_int silently overflows, returning negative or colliding values instead of an error

  vlang/v#30201 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• compiler: single-letter struct name in main is treated as an unresolved generic placeholder, so json2.decode silently returns zeroed fields (map field crashes)

• v watch: options before watch are dropped, so v -d veb_livereload watch run . builds without the define (regression)

• -live: hot code reloading never reloads with the V3 compiler (regression)

• v3: an assert message that prints an array or a struct declared in a select branch does not compile in C (y undeclared)

• doc: v help build-c documents -m32 / -m64 but the default compiler rejects them

• time: day_of_week allocates its lookup table on every call, so write_http_header allocates

vlang/v#30192 · Filter by author enghitalo opened on Oct 11, 2026

• vlib/net fails to compile with -autofree: cannot copy borrowed IError value

  vlang/v#30190 · Filter by author metif12 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• x/encoding/asn1: decode() accepts trailing data despite documenting that it rejects it, and GeneralizedTime accepts trailing garbage after Z

  vlang/v#30184 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• x/crypto/ascon: Xof128.read squeezes a throwaway clone, so every call returns the same bytes and the output never advances

  vlang/v#30183 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• crypto/scrypt: 128*r*p is computed in u32 and silently overflows, so parameters that pass the r*p guard still panic

• vlib/compress/deflate: 6-byte crafted stream causes an infinite loop and unbounded memory growth, reachable from decompress_zlib and decompress_gzip

  vlang/v#30180 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• net.websocket: the frame parser stores an unvalidated 64-bit payload length into an int, allowing a negative or arbitrary allocation

  vlang/v#30178 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• net/socks: socks5_dial has an empty IPv6 branch, so an IPv6 target produces a CONNECT request with no ATYP or address

  vlang/v#30177 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• net/ftp: continuation lines and the PASV reply are indexed without length checks, so a malformed server reply panics the client

  vlang/v#30176 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• net.websocket: send_control_frame truncates the length byte without the RFC 6455 125-byte limit, so close() with a long reason desynchronises the peer's parser

  vlang/v#30175 · Filter by author gabytz777 opened on Oct 11, 2026

• net/smtp: Attachment.filename and cid are interpolated into MIME headers unsanitised, allowing CRLF header injection and DATA termination
