Sounds like ancestors singing stories of warriors, glory, tradgedy, wisdom and lullabyes. The vinyl is wonderful. The unique sound, design, and commentary about the creative process was insightful. "Doors of Death" is an incredible album.

This album is mystical. That's right, mystical, as in communion with a higher power. Ineffably beautiful. No words can fully capture this album. The softness starting at 2:19 of Side A — sure, it's "black metal," but moments like this make Skagos so much more, making the label almost an insult to the depth of this uplifting, transcendent music. And Side B? I won't lie — it brought me to tears more than once. I really love Ást by Skagos as well, but Anarchic carries a hidden force of nature.
