Gee's golden langur, or simply the golden langur, is an Old World monkey found in a small region of western Assam, India and in the neighboring foothills of the Black Mountains of Bhutan. It is one of the most endangered primate species of India.

Howler Monkeys

This is the Colombian red howler (Alouatta seniculus)! Also called the Colombian red howling monkey, Trinidad howler monkey, and Venezuelan red howler. Found across a wide range in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. Primarily leaf eaters, their ability to consume and digest mature leaves is a key to their wide distribution. Threatened by hunting, deforestation, and other pressures from human activities. Listed as Least Concern.

RHESUS MACAQUE Since 2016 is the Year of the Monkey, we figure Monkey Hill at Kam Shan Country Park might be a good place to see more of them in their natural habitat.
