3.1K views · 168 reactions | DIY lamp I love the idea of converting vase into a lamp base. Here is how I accomplished this. I used wooden square from the dollar store to cut out a circle, which is to cover the top of the vase. I went with a Gorilla glue for wood to attach the wooden circle. It was an excellent choice because when it dried, it was invisible. I used USB rechargeable light bulb with a remote for the light source. The bulb came with a socket that can be glued to the wood. If you prefer to have the lampshade higher, you can add wooden round stick. The total cost of this lamp base is less than $40 dollars, where the bulb is the most expensive component. The vase was thrifted for $7 dollars and the glue I already had on hand. I've been stalled in the kid's bathroom by mirror trim that I know exists somewhere but is currently hiding from me.
