Lori's post about Ingeborg Hanson's note cards made me think of Peter Hunt. Mother had this book of his: He was a wonderful artist who was very well known, especially for what he called his "peasant style" of decorative painting. His original decorated furniture and paintings can fetch a pretty penny today. I remember Mother did some painting on wood with these peasant or Pennsylvania Dutch style motifs. They're so bright and beautiful! Just LOOK at these gorgeous painted kitchen cupboards…
