I couldn't find a pumpkin, then I found one that was the perfect shape and size! I've not carved a pumpkin in this way before, just taking the skin off in places, but I think it turned out good! I had to remove his cardboard ears before lighting him just to be safe! XD" It was tough to photograph him cos the candle kept going out! ^^" I made Pumpkin and Tomato soup from what i scraped out the middle, oishikatta yo! X3

I donated our "My Neighbor Totoro" themed pumpkin to the Moondollars Cafe for their All Hallows Eve celebration tonight at Jackson Square in Oak Ridge. This one took 4 hours or more from conception to completion, and is the family favorite. I am particularly proud of this one, I drew the pattern by hand from a scene from the movie, and changed the composition a bit to my liking and to best fit this pumpkin. A lot of work into this one.
