I desperately need to go and sit in an old library or bookshop with dim lights and candles burning and be surrounded by books and breathe in the smell, this is non negotiable.

I have a confession. I love crusty old books. The mass marketed paperbacks with yellow page edges and cracked spines that smell like they’ve been stored in an old man’s woodshed and read in his breaks as he feeds stray cats. I love those books just as much as I love the clean brand new books that smell like a pristine printing press and have matte covers and sprayed edges.
