So here’s a photo of a family of turtles I made a while back 🐢 (fully appreciate this is a tortoise emoji but it’s all we’ve got so let’s go with it) I’m not sure if many of you know this about me but quite a few years ago, my old friend asked me if I’d help him and some others to set up a charity, and so I became Chair of Trustees for @oliveridleyproject - I’m not involved anymore, but these guys are doing absolutely incredible work helping injured turtles who’ve been caught in ghost fishing nets. They’ve even built a turtle rescue centre in the Maldives, where Olive Ridleys are sadly very frequently found tangled in discarded nets.
