green and white tie - dyed throw with fringes on top, two pictures side by side

The shibori tie dye throw is a handmade cotton fabric, hand dyed with environmentally friendly, organic dyes. Shibori is a traditional Indian Rual Area art form where tightly wrapped fabric is carefully manipulated and dipped in dye. It takes a long time to create this one-of-a-kind textile. The shibori tie dye throw is made from 100% cotton, so it is both comfortable and durable. The softness of the fabric will soothe your skin, and the shibori tie dye throw will look great in any room.

Tie dying bedsheets:
Start with a white set, and put in for a quick wash. Lay out on the floor on the dust cover and twist up, stretching 4 elastic bands across to divide into 8 segments (or however many colours you have). Twist and band up your duvet cover and pillow cases at the same time to avoid colouring before you're ready! Colour each segment in the desired pattern before turning over and matching the segments up. Leave to "cure" for >24h and rinse out. Voilà!

Two tie dye king-size duvet covers and pillow set. Tips for twisting: put weight on the corners of your dust sheet so you don't have to extract it from the duvet cover - oops! To twist, wrap elastic bands around the end of a mop handle to grip the fabric and twist with. Works better on damp sheets. Colour spreads better on damp sheets. Tighter spirals = more white gaps
