Rubrik is on a mission to secure the world’s data. The company sits at the intersection of data, security, and AI. Founded in 2013, the cybersecurity company helps ensure organizations can operate in the presence of cyber attacks. Rubrik pioneered a platform of Zero Trust Data Security™ to provide cyber resilience amid all forms of cyber events including ransomware. Greylock’s partnership with Rubrik was early, in 2015, before the company’s first products were market-ready. Today, Rubrik is publicly traded (NYSE: RBRK), and has grown into a company with subscription annual recurring revenue north of $900 million, with more than 3,000 employees and over 6,000 customers.

In 2008, Greylock co-led the Series A in AppDynamics. The talented team redefined how enterprises monitored their application health. In 2015, David Wadhwani joined as CEO and AppDynamics transitioned to a multi-product, SaaS first company; growing ARR nearly 10x in four years and making it the fastest-growing APM vendor in the market. AppDynamics was less than two days away from IPO when Cisco acquired the company in 2017 for nearly $4 billion.
