Poster & 3D printing in the Penn Libraries: Poster Printing at the Bollinger Digital Fabrication Lab, Biotech Commons

Updates!

Poster Printing will be closed February 14th for University Safety regarding the Eagles Parade.

Please keep this in mind when submitting and plan accordingly. The last day for printing is February 13th. All orders needed on Monday the 17th will be done at 5pm.

More information on our turnaround times can be found on the cost, payment, turnaround page.

How it Works

In-Person Appointment
Online Submission

Choose this option if:

  • you would like to preview your poster at close-to-real size on our large monitor
  • you know our turnaround times and understand that your poster will not be printed during your appointment
  • you understand that appointments are not for designing your poster (but we do have a service for that, too!)
  • you have used our service before and are a satisfied customer, so you want to come see us even if you don't need to :)

More on what to expect and link to SCHEDULING

This option will save you a trip to the library, but use ONLY IF you agree to the following terms:

  • You are able to export your poster as PDF (use "export" or "save as" and avoid "print to PDF").
  • We will ask you to confirm before proceeding with your order: We will let you know if something is terribly wrong with your file, such as blurry images, and give you a chance to send us a different file.  We will not proof your poster for typos or minor formatting issues. We will not proceed with your order until we receive your confirmation, so your response times will affect our turnaround time. By confirming, you agree to pay for the poster.
  • We will send you an invoice for credit card payment or, if your department is paying for your poster, we'll await your business administrator's approval (which you have hopefully requested already!).  We will await for payment before proceeding with your order, which may affect our turnaround time.
  • When your poster is ready for pickup, you will receive an email with the pickup instructions at a location open 24/7 (not our lab).

Please note that the same turn-around restrictions apply to online submissions and are contingent upon your timely confirmation and payment.

Payment Options

  • Credit Cards: we will send you an online invoice to pay via credit card.
  • Departmental Account Number:  Submit a poster charge approval request to your business administrator for approval to charge the account.
  • No cash, checks, Penncash, departmental copy cards, pro-cards or CHOP departmental accounts.  Sorry!
