It has been a while since I last posted an entry. Life has been challenging with two examinations to curb plus induction (last 2 weeks) plus 10 days of course (next 2 weeks) busy busy….

However, meeting other lecturers was nice..keluar dari kepompong ler..huhu..

This weekend memang best, get to go through all the wedding process of my dear ‘ol friend, Kak Naemah. She was gorgeous! took many pics of her – the unofficial photographer using a Sony Cybershot 7.2 mega pixel huhu..

Gave her a wedding cake as her wedding present..(kongsi satu famly)very delicious indeed! Fully icing cake n Choc cake inside. Aduss sedap banget!! It was pretty difficult compared to the hard icing cake coz it needs to be in a cool environment and taken care of from kids! biasa la tu. and the best part was, all the kids sat in a row in front of the cake and waited to have a taste! how cute!

Did some outdoor shooting as well..just outside her house hehe…very nice landscape so I thought it’s the best place..

Well, cuti sekolah dah bermula. Can’t wait to meet my Hakim, Hanis n Sarah!!

been busy..love it..hate it? nah! I lurve my job now more than ever!

Although my job now requires me to be at several places in a day but it’s very exciting! no more routine work in the hospital (sorry to say..) I get to set exam Qs harhar..baru rase betapa susah nak buat soalan and nak marking kertaih kehkeh..have 3 papers to mark lepas exam final bln 4 nie and clerkship reports to check phew..

Not to mention, kena amik paper bahasa melayu peringkat maju..tak tahan!! next week ni exam..aduss..dahla fail ramai..lecturer ramai kecundang sebab dah lama tak guna proper BM – too bad..Hopefully I will do it well coz kalau tak lmbtler nak sahkan jawatan.

(hm..duit nie..smp biler pon rase tak cukup..sebab tu la org kate kalau org kaya makin susah hati takut duit hilang or tak cukup..org miskin lebih bahagia sebab banyak tu ada boleh je survive..the most important is that kita bersyukur..)

At last I could grab hold of the comp and update my blog. been very2 busy since the day I went back to work.

Abah,  mak, sis and I began our journey on the 6th of Feb2009 to Jogja. we arrived about 6pm at the Ibis Malioboro (the heart of Jogja). That night, we took a stroll down Jalan Malioboro – kinda like Jalan TAR except it opens till 10pm and the place is full of horse carriages offering tour service around town! tp cam ngeri la bile berdepan dgn kuda huhu..banyak sungguh! Kebetulan pulak adala orang tgh menyanyi buat performance-memang meriah jalan tu

The next morning, we went to Merapi Volcano sightseeing. about 1.5hours journey.we saw many old strong villagers doing their daily chores up and down the hill- carrying  huge bundles of vege,lots of sticks,babies..u just name it,they are simply fit for it!and the scenery was beautiful.

We had jagung bakar and tempe goreng tepung there – YUMMY!!!! Tempe was absolutely delicious, coupled with their extra spicy chilli + kopi susu kaw punyer!

Then, we went to Kaliurang and along the way bought some buah salak. It was so sweet and yummy (again!) Different than the ones in Malaysia. Yang kat malaysia kelat rasenyer..yang kat jogja called ‘salak pondoh’ is super delicious. tak kelat langsung.

We visited the Kraton palace and abah had a good time there coz he was there once with an invitation from the Sultan 26 years ago..

After that, we went SHOPPING! hehe..went to Pasar Beringharjo – the traditional marketplace in Yogyakarta. The vendors sell many kind of goods, ranging from basic household items to handicrafts. It’s like Pasar Payang in Terengganu meets Pasar Siti Khadijah in Kelantan. The trick to shop there is to bargain 50% of the price the vendors offer. But I did not buy stuff there – too hot and everything looks the same to me..huhu..tp itula tempatnye untuk shop murah2.

Makan2 wise, memang best kat Jogja. Breakfast makan nasi pecel (nasi+ kacang panjang+tauge+ kuah pecel) belakang Universiti Gadjah Mada. Fresh wooo and cheap!

Lunch at the Pendopo nDalem which was once Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono VII’s prince’s palace. the buffet memang menarik.

Dinner pulak dekat Restoran ayam goreng Suharti. Kire macam KFC sana la tp bkn fast food outlet.. restaurant dier ada la nasi and other stuff. Sambal dier voilla! memang ade kick.Sorry takde gambo heh..

Managed to shop for silver products at Borobodur Silver and Saphir Square. Baju2 blouse yang kat mesia ni harga Rm80, kat Jogja cume RM50 and way way way more beautiful and better material. below is the brooch cum pendant kakak bought-pure silver.

Next day, naik Lion Air @ Wings Air to Surabaya.

Checked in at Tunjungan Hotel – way better than what I expected huhu. Decided to take the Junior Suite hehe sekali sekala. Takla mahal sangat pun.

Sebelah hotel ada Tunjungan Plaza..memang besar! Ala2 Midvalley+Gardens la besarnye. Ada Sogo, Matahari (supermarket chain depa). Yang best tu kat supermarket pon ada jual baju muslimah..not like in supermarket kiter..susah tul nak dapat. other shopping area yang murah2 would be Jambeten Merah Plaza (JMP), Pasar Grosir Surabaya (PGS) @ Pasar Turi, Tanggulangin (leather goods), Mirota (handicrafts) and the Dharmawangsa Trade Center (DTC). major prob is mostly tutup by 5pm..tak sempat nak shopping! dahla conference abih kul 4..mana sempat sih! sob sob.. leh browse jer. lastly shopping kat  mall jer. InsyaAllah next time akan spend more time there.

Apepun..had a great time there, dapat bandingla gaya hidup sana and ours..will talk on that more next time..now need to bobok.. esok nak gi spital tgk students’ clerkship =)

After a loooonnggg break, there were so many things to do. settled the exam Qs and setting dates for Qs vetting..(never heard of it before..now I gotta do it often huhu) Unexpectedly, my superior asked me to apply for the Endeavour awards – a scholarship for a short term research/study/observational visit  in Australia.

The stressful thing bout it was the application was going to end in two days! I had to get 3 referees to fill in for me, a nomination from my superior, multiple certs, etc..I was about to cancel it off but Dr Baidi was so keen bout it and I couldn’t and wouldn’t let him down..tried my best to finish up the application and at the same time juggle with my duty  as a panel for the whole day seminar. Lari sini sana..adeh penat tul.

I managed to settle it and Alhamdulillah submitted it. Hopefully I will be selected! Then a second news came, my neighbour’s application to MRSM was rejected and she was heart broken, so was her mum. So we went out with her today to cheer her up huhu. bought her sandals for her belated birthday, ate at Damiral’s Grill and had lots of chit chat to give her some motivation. I guess it worked out pretty well!

Cuti Hari jumaat macam cuti2 weekend yang biase..but this time, I didn’t even realize that Chinese New Year is just round the block! So kire bonus 2 hari cuti la huhu..tu la preoccupied sgt dgn mcm2 plan nak wat, terlupa pulak. Hm cepat tul masa berlalu..dah nak kena submit soalan exam untuk student.Ajarnye pon belum lagi.. I have to attend exam as well for my bahasa melayu paper huhu. My sis and I dh finally decided to continue our small business – busana muslimah. Currently dalam proses memesan. hopefully when I get back from Surabaya on the 13th we can start off the project *wink wink*. Wish us luck in our lil project!

Minggu ni hectic sungguh. We had the Pharmacy Carnival for two days-yesterday and today.The most surprising thing was, I was told to become the MC for the first day. That is the MOU signing!!aisey..sungguh berprotokol hari selasa tu..mampu kah aku? tp alhamdulillah it went out pretty smooth. A few congratulated me and said I did it with flying colors heh! kembang la pulok.

Yang bestnyer, my exschool mate, Salmiza wuz here! represented UM at the exhibition booth. malam gi makan kat Secret Recipe.

The second day (today) penat banget..dahla pakai hi heels (padan muker) lari la naik turun dewan budaya tu pasai nak settlekan hal budak2 sekolah yang datang untuk talk n public speaking competition. nasib baik tak terpelecok hihi.petang Saiful Apek datang buat performance..(leh tahan gak meriah smp ade Apek..Apek=Apex uni huhu)

Harini punyela letih + feet ache +no apetite + satisfied with the success of a super duper short-noticed event.Not bad eh? Alhamdulillah!

Mak n abah takde, g terengganu.. dudukla sensorang kat penang (konon bawak diri la huhu) apepon orait je dok sensorang ni, pasainye balik je refresh, solat, makan, tido…kalau weekend takbley lar..boring sih.

21hb ni ade pertandingan public speaking yang organizing committee nye -MYSELF. dahla sent out surat jemputan lambat..(mesej tak sampai padaku awai2..what to do) takut la nanti takde peserta pulok huhu. so far yg confirm baru 4 orang. hopefully at least 10 turn up..keep my fingers crossed!
