Jammer_on_the_street Exemplifying Church's penchant for economical songwriting, ear-grabbing hooks, and lightning tempos, Haunt touches on some provocative existential themes in Flashback. A half-hour of true metal glory!
Favorite track: Electrified.

anceintwarriorcollin Equal parts Pop Metal anthems in the vein of Judas Priest and Ozzy and ferocious Speed Metal that Haunt has built their name on. Great album. Favorite track: Electrified.

dharmalogos Although I don't think the songs here are as heavy or as well-written as those on Mind Freeze, Flashback is leaps ahead on production and mixing. This is the entire genre of classic heavy metal perfected and distilled into a pop masterpiece. It sounds as perfect as any Mutt Lange recording but with way more humanity and soul.
Favorite track: Flashback.

Flashback 04:26
Time it ticks away from me. Searching in a memory. They're alive inside in my heart. Turn around and face the past. Looking at the broken glass. See reflections in the shatter. The days of glory have been left behind. The images are burned into my mind. If I could let the future in. Fading in my mind again. Tracing shadows on the wall. Life is delicate and grey. Brave the world and face the day. Hands of time are spinning around.

In closet doors live skeletons. Opened up to find the truth. Keep the lies locked away. For their secrets you will pay. They'll spend a fortune on a wall. They'll spend a fortune when duty calls. They'll spend a fortune to keep us blind. But I will not be chained.. They'll spend a fortune to wash your brain. They'll spend a fortune inflicting pain. They'll spend a fortune hiding lies. But i will not be chained.. Fables sold. Words of deceit. People dying the street. Crown the king of dishonesty. Caught in a web of perjury.

about

Flashback is Haunt diving headfirst into the past, capturing the thrill, the pain, and the unshakable spirit of 80’s metal. With razor-sharp riffs, soaring vocals, and electrifying energy, this album takes listeners on a journey through memory, mortality, and the power to rise beyond it all.

From the chilling intensity of “Winters Breathe” to the relentless drive of “Electrified,” and the epic resonance of the title track “Flashback,” Haunt channels the spirit of Ozzy, Iron Maiden, and the golden NWOTHM era — all with California fire.

This is music for fans who crave nostalgia with a modern punch, and songs that make you feel every moment of life and beyond.

Step into the past. Feel the power. Live the metal.

This is Flashback.
