This band really reminds me of a more gothic, even romantic themed version of Judas Iscariot. Most definitely one of the more unique bands in the black metal scene nowadays. This album takes the sound of Night & Love and expands on it's greatness even more.

Over time from when I first listened to this, for some reason in my head it became some dull 'post-black' nonsense that can barely be called metal, of the sort I went off years ago. I listened to this again before purchasing it, thinking I'd be removing it from my wishlist. Happily, it turns out my memory was VERY inaccurate here. This is indeed excellent, proper black metal.
