# Snapshot

When you save a web page, the Cubox server will try to archive a copy of the original web page data to prevent the original web page from being invalid and inaccessible. Cubox saves initial information for you when you need to refer to content.

# Automatic Processing

The snapshot capturing is Automatic when you save a web page. You can view the successfully captured snapshots in the reader.

Snapshot Effect

  • The structure of web pages varies a lot. The snapshot will try to restore the web page structure mainly based on text and pictures. If the web page contains more media, special visual effects, complex styles, etc., the snapshot may be restored differently.

  • It may take a while for the snapshot to be parsed on the server. If you import a large number of web pages in batches, it may take longer to process. You can close the app and wait patiently because it will process in the background automatically.

# Manually Refresh Snapshot

You can go to the reader menu bar > Refresh Snapshot to get the latest snapshot, and it can also solve the problem that some previous snapshots are lost.
