This mysterious mini album is the result of Het Zesde Metaal’s residence at Antwerp’s fine arts museum, which was still undergoing renovations at the time. The band gained access to the museum's rich collection, was inspired by 10 works and wrote 10 new songs about it. They were recorded, performed once at an exclusive show in the museum onder construction, and then disappeared back into the vaults. Until today. In the meantime, the museum has been festively reopened and the Masters are allowed roam free. ‘Meesters’ is only available on a limited edition on CD and LP. Both have inserts with the artworks and lyrics. The record will not appear online, and is not being repressed.
