What makes HitKeep built for the AI era?

HitKeep reports AI crawler fetches, AI-referred human visits, chatbot outcomes, and directional fetch-to-visit relationships. Optional Ask AI and Opportunities can explain approved aggregate evidence without changing the underlying calculations.

Does cookieless tracking mean storage-free?

No. The browser tracker uses a short-lived, origin-local sessionStorage identifier. It sets no analytics cookies by default and does not build a cross-site identity.

Where does HitKeep Cloud store analytics data?

Choose EU Frankfurt or US Virginia at signup. Workspace analytics data and backups stay in the selected region; billing, mail, support, and optional integrations have separate boundaries.

Can I self-host the same product?

Yes. Self-hosted and Cloud share the analytics engine, dashboard, permissions, API, tracker, and data semantics. Cloud adds managed operations and plan entitlements.

Can I move my data later?

Complete site takeout exports accessible history in open formats. It works as an archive or input to another stack; importing it into another HitKeep instance is not automatic.
