Install it onto the shelf brackets! (These had holes to screw the wood to the bracket)

This was an old window in a bathroom. Previous exterior wall was getting closed. So we turned it into a shelving unit. we placed a whiteboard on the back and cut it to size. Then caulked the lining and waited. Painted it all white on the inside of the wall drilled 5 mm holes and placed 6 mm pegs even distance to set the shelves on. Painted everything white.
