A little overdue tribute to Cassini spacecraft, that ended its mission last month. Also, today on 15th October, it's 20th anniversary of the launch, so here are a few Cassini themed artworks, which were also a really nice test for my new iPad Pro and Procreate.

The Spacecraft

On April 26th, 2017, over 700 million miles away, a small spacecraft made history by plunging between Saturn and its rings. The craft’s name is Cassini and its time is coming to an end.

Last year, in its Grand Finale, the Cassini spacecraft dove repeatedly between Saturn and its rings. This week, 6 teams of researchers published new research based on Cassini's final days and those daredevil dives.
